Do I need to own a gun to take the class?
No. Contact us before your class and we can discuss options for students who do not yet own a firearm.
What's the difference between Enhanced and Concealed Carry in Tennessee?
Tennessee offers both a Concealed Handgun Carry Permit and an Enhanced Carry Permit. The enhanced permit requires additional training but allows carry in more locations. We cover both during the course.
How long does the course take?
The full course including classroom instruction and range qualification typically takes most of a day. Contact us for current scheduling.
What do I bring to the class?
Valid photo ID, a legal handgun (or contact us in advance), ammunition as specified, eye protection, and ear protection. We'll send you a complete checklist when you register.
Does the permit work in other states?
Tennessee has reciprocity agreements with many states. We cover current reciprocity information during the class and advise always verifying before traveling with a firearm.
